If only he’d had a chance to play in a confident, successful strong championship team, playing left sided striker in a system favouring more direct attacking football, he might have shone. Wait a minute .... he did ... for us last year.

Pearson played attacking football?! :icon_lol: What were you watching? His side was built around an organised defence, look how few goals both ourselves last season and Hull this season scored compared to the teams around them.

He won’t get into an SGE team of misfiring overpaid fanny merchants

Fanny merchants? :icon_lol:

As it is there is every prospect that like many others in the post-MON era, he’ll be offloaded and play his best football (IMO in the Prem) somewhere else.

Can you list some of these "many others"? I reckon you could count the number of player from the past 11 years who've gone on from us to better themselves on one hand (Stearman, Campbell and ermm....).

The club are investing a lot of cash in grass roots football. They are about to launch several intiatives involving junior sides. The ambassador of these initiatives is Mr Waghorn. The kids will be known as Waggys warriors. Which kind of gives the impression he will be sticking around. :102: Probably go tomorrow. :icon_bigg
