didnt think so, people getting a little excited too early...theres a proverb about chickens, eggs and counting that people need to remember...
 
He has already played in the cup, he has an injured hamstring anyway and we are waiting for him to make a decision on the offer to come to City.

He would be a great signing, but we should not heap too much expectation on him to start with (if he comes).

The initial hope was to get someone new in by yesterday so that they could face Spurs in the FA Cup tomorrow night.
But that would not have applied to Fryatt, who is cup-tied with the Saddlers.
