scoring goals for the reserves is different to scoring for the first team-people need to understand that.

But they dont DD, to a lot of people a goal is a goal whatever level they play at.......:icon_roll

Some people just believe what they want to

DJs goals have been from a combined distance of 2-3 yards out. If a player scores a hat trick then is totally left out of the squad that isnt going to motivate him that much is it now?

What would you say if all of dj's goals were peno's?

Slag him off for it no doubt. I could of bagged those two goals.

It was a hat-trick against Wolves Reserves!! With two goals from a position our goalie could score from.

I suspect Rudkin felt the need to keep a settled side after a troublesome week.

Im not having a go at DJs goals im saying he is a goal scorer i would rather have that in my team than Hume who misses alot of simple chances and scores wonder goal 1 time out of 50 attempts.

Fryatt is a goal scorer even if he is a lazy arse he would still score more goals than MDV and Hume.

he hasnt played in the league this season and was "injured" last year. When he first came he looked quality. Give him a chance ffs.

When he came on he looked lazy. He doesn't deserve to oust one of the other strikers at the moment.

Hume isn't even playing up front.

He might look lazy but he has scored goals when he is given a chance.
We all hated MDV for being lazy in his first full season but he still scored more goals than the other strikers at the time.

there was talk of ma being a bully especially with the likes of fryatt if thats true its hardly going to inspire him or give him confidence

5 goals in 5 games inc pre-season. Against pretty poor opposition I grant you, but you can only score against who you are picked to play.

I think him and Campbell would be the most likely partnership to get us goals but then I like Fryatt where many others don't.

Exactly, ever since MA2 came in, it was clear to see that he judged Fryatt to be a reserve player, was he not even reported to be training with the Academy lads at one point? :102:

What I really don't get is how many people were/are willing to let MDV have another chance but not Fryatt. This is the thing that bemuses me the most.

What about the team that banged in 4 against Watford? Should those strikers be dropped for a guy who scored in the ressies?

every forward of ours can make a presence when on the pitch, they have some pace or least can get pass the defender, win the header, matty fryatt cant do any of them, he cant run cause he is a slow fecker, he can win the header, there's no point of having him getting depressed standing next to the bench has he isnt good enough to even make the bench,

let me go out on loan and come back next summer a stronger plater like MDV did

And at Forest, I cannot actually remember the Deej having a touch of the ball!!

Out of our strikers, Fryatt has got the best touch and awareness by a country mile, and I'm sure he has scored a few headers for us as well.

If you meant 'let him' go out on loan then I would probably agree with you, although I think, if ever given a chance in our team, he would certainly bang the goals in.

So far he's been a lazy fecker.....

Too right, but I wont complain if he manages to knock one in every other game.

With the strikers we have at our disposal, I really do think it is a tough choice as who to play. Obviously all of them have different strengths and weaknesses to each other, but from what I have seen so far, none of them have shined more than the others.
