Is Ireland B anything to be proud of?, I'm not being a killjoy, I really don't know the standard. IMO all our players should be aiming for their 1st team squads and not be happy with anything less

But surely he will see it that if he proves himself at that level he will be given the step up, I thought that was the point of b internationals, to try out some new ideas etc?

Not really, you have to prove yourself at club level to make the step up, not B level.

If I was Paddy I would be a tad disappointed, he's played prem footbal with the best in the world and now he's playing with the youngsters. I would rather be picked for the full team squad and not make the team if I were him

They aren't all young in that Squad though MF and besides PM is hardly old

Only clubs other than us he's had games for are Notts County and Boston Utd.


At least getting a "B" call up shows he's in their thoughts.
Thought maybe Logan would've got in too, as I seem to remember hearing Staunton had watched him and been impressed.
