Defenders: Carr (Newcastle), Finnan (Liverpool), McShane (West Brom), Dunne (Man City), Kelly (Birmingham), O'Brien (Portsmouth)


Paddy's only 23, and has only been playing regular first team football for the last 18 months. I'm sure he'll get there eventually, but it's still early on for him right now really.

I'm not quite sure how Mcshane got in there.
Never impressed me at Brighton last season or West Brom this.
Probably the fact that he used to play for Man Utd eased him into the squad.

Let's be honest Paddy McCarthy is not by any means an international footballer. At best he is solid in this division. Deon Burton skinned him for their second on Saturday and he is roobish!

I reckon given time Logan might be given a chance, heard rumours of late that his contract expires in the summer and he is lookin for parity with big Rab who surely must be on a pretty penny!

Rab doesn't deserve what he's being paid, never mind a kid who has only played a handful of first team games. i would never offer him that much money, he's made some crazy desicions before now and im not 100% sure hes gonna be the answer.

He has got a lot to learn but IMHO he is not good enough for International football. Then again some of the planks they have in their squad now aren't either!

I'd agree about Logan, he's promising but far from being the finished article. Although he does look like the best one we have at the minute
