If we get McLeod, Saggy and Leon Best (all hot tips and inside info on here, although we have only spoken with Saggy to date, nobody has said he is definitely signing), let alone any of the others that are rumoured (Trundle, Todorov, etc) then surely Fryatt will be off?

IF we had McLeod, Saggy, Leon Best and Todorov then I am not sure we would need Fryatt. To my way of thinking he flatters to deceive and is the type of player that appeals to many a Manager's ego. They all think they can get the best out of him. ;)

My guess would be McCleod and one other experienced Striker maybe Cresswell. That would leave us with McCleod,Cresswell,Fryatt,Hume,Dodds...MDV will never play for this Club again IMO

Just spoke to a mate that lives in MK and saw him play a few games (not a Dons fan though) he says he can obviously can score goals at that level, but has a touch like an elephant and overall ball control is dire.

Please god don't let that be who we all think it is.....

Can anybody tell me what makes McLeod worth £1.3m. He played 40 odd games for Derby scoring 4 goals, played 7 at Sheff Utd without scoring then drop down to the fourth tier of football scoring a lot of goals. Surely the signs are obvious, he's found his level at the age of 23, to pay £1.3m would in my opinion would be ridiculous. Got no problem if it was a much lower fee it would be a calculated gamble but at that price it looks as if we throwing away a lot of cash on someone who's failed at this level. Smells like a bit of Badbuy syndrome under Taylor.

Or he could have learnt the game at the lower level and developed into a good player :102:

That's what used to happen in the old days before players actually broke into the England side at 17 :icon_wink

:038:I agree and my main concern so far is that we are not actually improving the squad. No quality has actually been added so far. We are just making sideways movements.

I think N'Gotty in and McCarthy outis definitley an improvement and having never seen him play I am prepared to say that Nielsen has to be better than the three distinctively average keepers we have.

yep - from one extreme to the other - a guy thats played 70 games in his career to one thats played at the highest level.

One that is in the infancy of their career to one that is just about done.
