I read that Megson's agent was at the Souness interview and it was then Souness decided to pull out. I might have read it on here mind.

It's probably hoping a new manager comes in and wants his own backroom team, therefore in line for a payoff. If he left for Bolton now they would have to compensate us.

No. He was his agent several years ago when he went to WBA, but has not been for some time.
