In the East Stand, nervous as hell - I think I'll be more nervous at Stoke somehow.

That'll be the thought of the journey home behind a seriously pissed-off driver!

Had moved up North previous year. School was full of reds from both sides of the ship canal. Took alot of stick that year, but I'm over it now.:icon_wink

Would have liked to have been there, only started going regularly again the following year.

The goal was in front of the kop.

Your memory fails you:

I told you my memory was vague.

I stood in pen 4, rather than my usual members area behind the Leicester bench, because I had a nice young lady from work with me.

I think the crowd was around 19,000, which was big for us in those days, even though the ground could hold about 30,000 at the time.

There were loads of rumours going around the ground about what was going on in the West Brom match, and in the days before mobile phones it was difficult to confirm exactly what was going on, even the people with radios didn't seem certain.

I kept off the pitch at the end, I just watched the pitch invasion from the terrace. I didn't feel like celebrating, I just felt relieved and drained.

More like 60,000 if you believe some of the lying cnuts on here :icon_roll
