I HATE the mexican waves at the walkers we always always seem to have some sort of late panic when the wave starts up, im a superstitious twat i know but i think the waves responsible for most of the goals we've let in in the last 20 minutes at home the past 2 seasons

It also annoys me that during the mexican wave a large number of fans don't bother to watch the game DESPITE BEING 3-0 UP!!!!! That is as unforgivable as leaving 10 mins early IMO!

Ok, I can see how you might say itsa bit of fun, but in all honesty if you chant instead of doing that shity mexican wave it WILL get a much better resonse out of the players!!

i can remember when we played Wimbledon 2 years ago (not MK Dons) and they had about 80 fans there. we did the mexican wave and they dint bother and everyone abused them, happy memorys. :?

Whoever thinks its a good idea to start a wave half an hour from fulltime needs shooting, well maybe not shooting but you know what I mean. Leave that kind of thing to the 85th minute when we are cruising, then I'll join in!

this season when we played brighton we had a five - ten minute spell where the crowed picked up and started to look like we could win it, the crowed stopped so did the players, but against blades the crowed were good and so were the players

Sod it if we are 1-0 against the geordies do the conga round the touch line we don't get much to shout about so when we do give it large I say.

Otherwise we might as well sit round like a bunch of mutes. Isn't much comparison between Newcastle and Burnley besides we won on Tuesday.

Never a truer post posted. Couldn`t agree more, although bit puzzled about the henry thing- whats that ? with 15 mins to kick off usually still in Russels. Am I missing something ? Or is the drink problem getting worse ?

Too right the Mexican wave makes us look like t**ts. The atmosphere for away teams is meant to be intimidating, not a bloody jovial carnival.

On Tuesday night the Kop was s**t as well. I had a season ticket there last year and thought it was pretty loud, but on Tues I was sat near L1 and couldn't hear anything from the south stand. At least the lot in L1 sing cos otherwise the Walkers would be a graveyard.

You could see the Sheff Utd fans thinking the wave was complete bollocks. But this is now the public image of our club throughout the country.
