Am I right in saying this will be Andy King's 100th League game for us if he plays?

Not bad considering he's only 21.

Yes. He's also appeared in a dozen other games.

Wow, that very impressive for someone his age.

I hope there is a couple of unknown yougsters in the squad tomorrow it seems the perfect oppurtunity to give them a go.

Why does it? Why would we want to risk our winning streak going into a set of hopefully 3 games where confidence and form could be vitally important?

Our winning streak counts for nothing going into the play offs. The semi final legs are treated like finals and form counts for nothing, it is all or nothing in those two games. I care about having all of our best players fit for the play offs rather than winning tomorrow and then getting some of our better players injured for the play offs. Playing the young guns is a good idea, they get experience against good opposition who like us have nothing to play for.

You honestly don't think going into the play-offs in form is a help to the side? :icon_conf

Yes, these games are going to be cup finals and the biggest of a lot of our players' careers to date, but going into them with confidence will help no end.

So losing, possibly heavily, will not dent the team's confidence?

Bruce needs a game, so I reckon he will start instead of Hobbs or Brown
Be very surprised if they risk Wellens, wonder if Adams may play centre with Solano on the right
Reckon Waghorn will be rested too, perhaps Vaughan & Fryatt switch at some point, whether Fryatt starts depends how long they think he should play

Don't be so inexplicably blinkered. Winning is a habit; fall out of that habit and you quickly forget how to do it. Why would you risk going into the most important game of the season thus far on the back of a defeat? Even if it is 'treated like a final' isn't it better to go to a final with tails up? Perhaps that's why Portsmouth are continuing to play their strongest squad (permitted) and grind out a few results before their final.

no injuries or red cards vital (mustnt risk anyone with niggling injury) must give Fryatt some match time personally id rest Weale Berner Wellens and Waggy
