Closed at 177/2, HD and Dippenaar putting on 96 together. Might be the first decent partnership the pair have had together in two seasons!

58 behind, good job today.

Plenty of teams have done it to us, but dont recall us putting in such a gritty battling innings for some time. Wouldnt have bet on taylor getting our first ton of the season at start of play today! Good on him. He really outscored nixon too.

368-7. Taylor 110 not out. Really pleased for the youngster. Lead by 133 runs with about 22 overs left. Hopefully should get a draw from here!

Phil hughes is just bowling his first ever over so i think the draw is about to be called

Match drawn

have to agree and to be honest a bit unexpected

Indeed. It just had all the makings of another innings defeat at 2/1 in the second innings.

All the batsmen made some runs in the match, apart from Boyce who still made a useful opening partnership with New in the first innings, so hopefully as they say ad nauseum "taking some positives from the game"

Taylor and Cobb must be well chuffed making runs in front of Strauss as well!

I hope I put in an unexpected performance tomorrow, playing my first game of cricket in 5 years.
