Not ideal, but if you have good wide players then it can work with two holding midfielders. You often see that set-up in continental teams. But are our wide players and strikers versatile enough to make it work?

He can 'turn' for starters, always goes back on himself and loses it, can't pass a ball and is a fanny when tackling.

I also disagree, when he plays well he looks head and shoulders the best player on the park - good touch and time on the ball.
last night he was crap though - but i sooner have him in our midfield than the endless shite we've had there over the last couple of years.

After just watching Juninho and Beckham play in the LA Galaxy V Sydney FC game I'd say get Juninho in. He set up two goals and went off at halftime after getting a nasty tackle. He might be a bit old these days but he still splits defences with superbly timed diagonal passes. And he's still very elusive with his ball control.

Last night he was always man-marked by at least two players, all our play flowed through him, but for his standards he wasn't at his usual high standards. Were you at Bristle? He was great there I thought.

I think Ollie will make David Norris one of his prime targets for the January transfer window.
Highly regarded at Plymouth, and still young at 26. Norris has scored 4 goals so far this season.

Ollie said he was gutted when he had to let him go to QPR as Plymouth needed the money. Can't we hijack the deal as money talks!

Weso is a superb player and about our best prospect.
I can't believe people how quick people are to slate him, he's been one of our better performers this year and to say we should bring in new players when the lad is only 20ish and is a 'cnut' a 'duffer' and 'dreadful' is a bit harsh.
One bad game and out come the daggers as usual.

He played like a duffer and a cnut, and was dreadful - so did his more experienced partner alongside him. What do you want me to say
"Weso was really great last night and I thought the midfield was truly outstanding, despite being completely overrun for seventy solid minutes by a very average looking side"
