its the best comedy for years!!!

maybe your just not in touch anymore....

:002:

i didnt get it either for a while, but then i watched the scat episode, and it cracked me up, now i cant miss it

I think the Mighty Boosh is shit, and the worst programme ever to appear on TV.

I've never seen it mind, nor any clips.

Only if you did my "voice over"

I sent ''The League of Gentleman is a load of old bolllocks, take the ****ing thing off the air for christs sake'' in once.Anne never read it out so I'm not bothering again:102:

Was that that crap film with Shaun Connery in it? :icon_bigg

League of Gentleman is genious.:023:

I thought Simon Amstell having a bitchy dig at Noel Feilding's humour was very funny this week on Buzzcocks.

The "Davro or Dennis" round was really dark.

I think M B is like most comedies crap with moments of genious

Future Sailors.... Cyborg seadog.... tell me what you dream of..

I've never seen Mighty Boosh, but was that Noel who was on Buzzcocks from it?

I quite liked him.

Yep, but he didn't have a witty comeback when Amstell went after him.

I saw him passed out drunk on the Picadilly line once. He tried to have drunken chat before wobbling off at the next stop.

The thing about the Mighty Boosh is that it's not as simple as just a straightforward comedy. It's has this sort of interesting and ludicrous side to it as well. It doesn't appeal to certain people's personalities but it happens to appeal to mine.

Hmmm, I'm intrigued.

When's it on?

Like a lot of niche comedy, it's like Marmite. But sometimes if you step back, you realise it's got a decent 'message', it's just presented in a bonkers way.

A bit like 'Nathan Barley' which was totally tv shit but after some thought made a decent point.

In my youth, it was The Young Ones that a lot of people didn't 'get'.

I thought that was hilarious, but again, sometimes could be a bit hit and miss.

Nathan Barley was pretty on the button in mocking the current culture. Could have been very funny but don't think Chris Morris was after that.
