I never rated Bent that highly. He was OK if the ball fell just right for him, but his movement wasn't that good which made him look lazy.

But, I guess he's an improvement on what we had last season etc etc etc

(I thought I'd get that almost compulsory line in before anyone else did)

I tend to agree with that. The season of Bent, Dickov and Ferdinand was the last time we had a decent strike force.
