I also walked out on my job to get to the game as my boss refused to let me take time off.

I worked for a company in Leicester called Commando Knitwear who supplied uniform to armed forces around the world.

The Leicestershire Constabulary were coming to the warehouse to pick up jumpers on their way to the picket lines in Yorkshire during the miners strike.

It's nowhere near as dire as it used to be.

Although that's not saying much. I went there with Ipswich fans when they won 6-3, the year they won the cup. I doubt there was an Ipswich fan left in the ground after half-time, nor a coach that went back with any windows left in it.

But I will be going with my kids if we get through.

In 2014, the worst thing I saw was a Millwall fan running onto the pitch to steal the linesman's flag. Which, admittedly, was slightly odd behaviour

I've been to children's birthday parties that carried a greater sense of threat than a trip to Millllll. But it is a shithole, and its full of shitheads.

Fecking ran for my life that afternoon.

Was this the game when City fans complained about the restricted view from the away end at the old Cold Blow Lane?

I missed the TJ opener (as well as the train from Leicester!) as I'd just got into the ground and had to stand behind the pylon in the corner....unfortunately I was able to witness our capitulation at the end of the game.....a couple of Red cards and Pleat invading the pitch...it was lively to say the least

Talkingballs is full on fannies.

I'm going down for a proper good scrap

Say what I want blood

I was informed by this forum that they are very decent fellows and to get banned from there you have to have been terrible. Accept your punishment Lako and move on.

What's our turgid shite got to do with Millwall v Derby? We're not that shit that we're making others play shit in sympathy.

That Sutton game being put on the Monday night is absolute shit.
