I think our rejuventaion continues here and the old guard are moved further away from the first team.

Probable starting 11

Zieler (but Kasper will be back)

Amartey (but wish he was in central defence)
Benny
Wasilewski (but hopefully Wagué)
Chilwell

Albrighton
Ndidi
Mendy
Gray

Musa (possibly okazaki)
Slimani

Mahrez to come on as a sub.

Musa Kapustka Gray

Slimani

I'd enjoy watching that team too.

Would probably start Kapustka against Millwall. Expect the likes of him could get a real chance if we get relegated and a number of the bigger names move on so it'd be wise to give him a chance in the first time now. Millwall is the perfect opportunity. He did pretty well against Derby IMO.

What is it with people putting Musa on the wing??

I'm assuming the people that are stating this have not seen him play there before!?!

Never a winger or wide man in a million years but looked effective down the middle against Derby.

Schmeichel

Simpson
Huth
Morgan
Fuchs

Albrighton
Drink water
King
Mahrez

Vardy
Slimani

Protect the good ones for Seville I say.

I want to see him in the middle feeding off Slimani - and being told to shoot.

I thought the Derby game showed he's not the answer to our striker problems. He had one shot, and only 17 passes in 90 minutes. Against Derby reserves.

1 game is enough for you is it?

Vardy has shown he's not the answer game after game after game.

Well I was trying not to be a complete pessimist tbh as most times I have seen him play, I've been left wondering how he became a pro footballer let alone someone spunking £16m on him.

Did play well against Palace and Derby though which is one more better performance than Vardy so he should probably get a run up front.

Not Musa please he just isnt good enough, I really would start Slim and Vardy these two need to play regardless, shinji works his tits off but cant finish, vardy just needs a break at least he is grafting.

He's had tons of chances. Just yesterday he had enough chances to score at least 1. How some of you expect CR to bench players when you won't even bench a goal scorer who can't score (or even hit the target anymore) is beyond me.

We haven't scored in the league this year!!!!

Tons of chances? I'm not sure which games you've been watching.

Yes he hasn't hit the heights of last season, but when the tactic is to launch it up to him then what chance does he have? He's 5ft 10" so it's not surprising he rarely wins the ball against 6ft 2" centre backs.

The service he has had has been nothing short of ****ing abject.

Which means less to us now? FA Cup or Champions League?

I hate the thought of writing off any game but I'd rather, at this point, 'rest' our preferred side (whatever that might be) for the midweek Champions League fixture knowing full well that we risk an even bigger tonking; numbness sets in after 5 anyway.

I 'd like to see us use the Millwall tie to give a new look side a run out with a view to them being the starting lineup when Prem activities recommence. I guess it also seems fitting - and I'm pretty sure someone else said this - that the side that got us into the Champions League be the one's to bow us out.

I make it sound simplistic don't I? Like we have two distinct teams. Truth is, there'll be mix and match obviously... but you get the gist.
