So your take on MadieGate is? :102:

I haven't really got a 'take' on it. But I will say that when I first saw it on the news, I said that there was something not quite right about it.

well done, you realised there was something not quite right about a child going missing. All your speculation means **** all.

I agree 100% with what you're saying lako but in fairness Boc hasn't been guilty of the mindless kind of speculation that has gone on in this thread.

Some of the shit that has been posted on here has been appalling, I can't imagine what goes through some peoples minds. Actually it's probably a lack of thought going through their minds in the first place that is the problem.
Braindead tabloid led sheep.

you blaming SWWG then? The poor sod only went to Devon

Perhaps I should clarify what I meant. Of course there is something not quite right about a child going missing - but in this case I immediately felt that everything was not quite how we were being told in those initial reports.

I have been very careful not to speculate - you will surely have noticed that I very clearly said that I didn't have a 'take' on it - but I still believe that this is not a straightforward case of child abduction. I have spent a life-time of working with people who are under pressure and that experience leads me to believe that there are things here which just don't add up.

Took my parents for a drive around Switherland and Woodhouse this morning before stopping at a pub (waterside?) in Mountsorrel. On the way back we touched the edge of Rothley before taking a right turn back towards Bradgate park. I noticed a rather large group of people standing near that turn, and assumed that was the McCanns residence. I thought the police had stopped the media from getting right up to their house:102:.

Is that your way of admitting you were rubber necking. :018:
You are correct the McCann's house was 50 yards further on the right heading towards Rothley just after that right turn. Walton way (I think).;)

Well considering your location is Norfolk then how do you know:icon_roll.

Actually i replied to Tedfoxx because i noticed he gives his location as Mountsorrel- L'boro, so he seemed appropiate for local knowledge:icon_wink

To be a fox you should be City born and bred. :icon_eek:
Just cause I live in Norfolk why should I not know?
I actually lived in Mountsorrel for 5 years 100 yards as the Crow flys from the McCanns house? That local enough for you? :038:

Branson now making himself a 'saviour' helping out with legal advice and cost.

They launched a massive media campaign to raise awareness even more!! It's to refocus the hunt for Madeleine. This will come from the £1 million fund.

They attended mass today in Rothley and invited the press along!! Very selfish IMO. I am sure the coverage Rothley is getting atm is making residents angry.

What a strange case this is. I don't know what to believe anymore

Girl's Case 'May Solve McCann Mystery'
By Alex Watts
Sky News Online Reporter

Mr Williams-Thomas, a former detective who is now a child protection specialist, said: "I can't accept that Gerry and Kate as parents of the child could have been involved in her murder - even based on the fact that over 90% of murders are domestic-related."
Can we get Mr Williams-Thomas in to do some of the vbookie odds? (Anyone would think all Welshman are fick or sommin).

So I've wasted the last 20 odd years of my life getting my Notts born missus to become a die-hard City fan?

Sorry love, you'll have to give up your season ticket and forget all those happy memories of trips to Elm Park, The Dell, The Baseball Ground, Roker Park, Old Wembley etc etc etc.

Oh, and get rid of those LCFC negligees too, you ain't fit to wear them.

She only wears them to give you a stiffy!!
She's probably a secret Forest fan!! Have you asked her or just spent 20 years dictating to her? My missus is still Bristol City 22 years later!!
It's in the blood!

Why do you think?
You should support the team you were born to?
Pretty obvious really!!:102:

what if you were born somewhere where there is no definite local team and you just pick the team you fall for? if you are honestly saying me and Boc can't be real city fans then you are a total ****

I dont think it matters what he says, that conclusion is still easy to get to imo.

If you read my original thread and the content my comment was made in then you will realise that I was replying to Braunie who was suggesting I shouldn't be commenting on something as I lived in Norfolk.

I can't see anyone giving him stick for suggesting I know nothing about Leicester living in Norfolk!!!! If you were born where there is no team then support who you like. In fact I couldn't give a toss as long as Maddie is alive somewhere as this is her thread!!
I don't really care about who you think is a **** either nobby! :102:

i was going to read the thread but felt that comment warranted my comment straight away, which i will stick with.

as for maddie, my personal feeling is that she is dead. sad, but i feel that from the second the ridiculous media circus rolled in there was no chance she would be safe
