I think its disgusting, took the missus down (havent got a season ticket this year because iv joined a Saturday team). Cost us £40 and that was because we said we were 18. Otherwise we would have had to go home. An absolute joke. Could have made a first DD payment on a season ticket for that price.

Just as a comparison, a season ticket for the Arizona Wildcats American Football starts at $92 for adults. That's for only seven home games but it's less than 60 quid in total. Like with City, it's the second tier of the sport (College Football) but it's the biggest sporting team in Tucson, a city of a million people, so they get much bigger gates, averaging over 55,000.

On the other hand, it's a bollocks sport played by teenagers!

The top sporting team in Arizona is the Phoenix Suns basketball. They are genuine contenders at the top of the NBA and it's quite a good sport IMO. A season ticket covering 41 home games at the Phoenix Suns costs $660, or 423 quid. That's just over 10 quid per game. Basketball arenas are by definition smaller and the Suns get a sell-out average of 17,000 per game.

Conclusion: rip-off Britain.
