I was afraid that this would put Mr. Johnson in a bad light and it seems to have done just that.

I know James and he is a very enthusiastic follower of our club, but like all damn good Lawyers they get fixed on things we do not see, LIKE ALL OF HIS BREED they read the small print First and the generalisations after...... now he has seen something that he is clearly unhappy with and has taken the appropriate action he sees fit,and i dont decry him for doing so, plus you cannot blame him with the recent events that have delayed this venture as he resigned ages ago, I personally think this is all down to Companies house and procedures that encompass this deal, I believe we still have to inform the stock exchange and the companies registery and its a slow uncompramising business.

Thanks for that. I am a lawyer and I don't eat babies and drown kittens...

ask anyone. I am the most irrational human being when it comes to Leicester City.

So you understand the process of turning a seemingly simple process into a long drawn out saga!:icon_bigg

We said it "could" be interesting.

Had we not been posting updates on message boards, then some of what was said would have been new information, so may have been for non internet folk.

If we were on the LCFC board we would find tonight's MM "frustrations" Merc article annoying, the delays over the last week have come from his side of the deal (maybe not MM himself, but legal issues on his side have caused the delay)

there are no options apart from we have no money, no squad, no fight and no chance!

We have had dialogue with James Johnson today & he agreed with the posts that the details broadcast were bland.

Apparently he did reveal more about this reasons for not backing the deal, but RL were advised legally not to broadcast it.

Hopefully this will help explain why we have previously tried to give as much detail as we can to fans, and reflect shareholders did have real concerns with the bid.

We are optimistic of the takeover being complete this week, although we still haven't had the official final bid document as yet, so timescales are getting tight again

Thanks FT, sounds promising, as it is the first time I recall the Trust giving positive news and commitment to a completion time :038:

From the above statement do I assume that MM has not put in a official final bid or is it the board that is sitting on the official bid and not distributing it

Bloody Hell, who's got it this time?

Can the shareholders make a decison that quick? I thought that they wanted what was right for the club, and as such would scrutinise any formal document?

Let's hope they don't rush through it and miss something important.

After your statement FT, I wouldn't want it to be completed this week, I want them to spend more time analyzing the takeover bid. Unless they are just looking at the section entitled "What will go into your personal bank account", but it's well documented that money isn't the motivator in this instance so I'm fairly happy this won't be the case

I would assume that in all the back and forth they have become well aware of the main content, and of which last bits have remained in contention, so presumably they will only need to satisfy themselves that what has emergred on those points fits the bill.

The shareholders are not aware of the content of the bid document. The FT have posted as fact that the shareholders have not yet recieved an official bid document
