Mmmm.......6 goals in 8 league matches at home.......sounds entertaining and attacking right enough! ;-)

We created enough chances to have scored loads of goals, but our strikers couldn't have scored in La Manga at the time.
Now Connolly's started scoring again we'll start getting the results we deserve.

In our last two home games we've had 34 shots on goal, but scored just one.

Mind numbingly boring when you are beating Rangers away etc., finishing third in the league, and qualifying for Europe at a canter

Like I said, it will be a long time before the master tactician you have there now can achieve those dizzy heights

Your only hope is that your sugar daddy throws a fortune at the playing squad, and you find one or two decent players who MIGHT get you somewhere near again

I doubt it

You were at the game at Ibrox were you? I was, we had one shot on goal and scored. The rest of it was indeed mind numbingly boring!

You know anything about the "master tactician" we have now? Actually seen Hearts play this season? No? I thought not!
Unlike you I watched first hand the performance of your "master tactician" for 3/4 years so at least I've got some opinions based on facts.

As for "dizzy heights" it's your team thats dizzy from vertigo - looking down! ;-)

How many shots did the great Jambos have against Inverness Cally at home the other week

Ooooh, there's ambition personified........

:P :P :P

More than the shots at goal we had against them when Craigy-boy was manager!

By the way Hearts were not "great" that day, they had 10 of their first team squad out with a flu epidemic - if you want to have a go, suggest you get the facts behind the story!

Should have gave me a call,I'd have sent some Anadin down.To be fair I have seen Hearts play this season on the Box a few times and they aren't a bad side,I've also seen Aberdeen a few times and they were shite..Noel Whelan for fecks sake.

The title of this topic is "More ambition required CL". He showed all the ambition required the moment he left the Scottish Premier League. ;-)

He might have come south based on football ambition - then again it might just have had something to do with trebling his salary and solving his domestic situation.

If you are not Chandler, then you are Chandleresque and as such, increasingly as welcome as Chandler.  ;-)

"Chandleresque"? Is that one of those fancy candle things that hangs from the ceiling? ;-)

AFFTN, As we have seen such a vast improvment in the football since CL took over that your suggestion about hoof ball and defensive football just does not apply, I aint says all is rosy, but it is a hell of a lot better than it was.

Tacticaly CL seams good, he is aware of the squads limitations and will change 2-3 players and/or the formation during a match and turn games around. he is anything but tacticaly inept, we've seen inept, I assure you, we know what inept is.

We have gone from the hieghts of MON's days to taylor who wasted 23 million on trash and distroyed what MON put together. Bassett came in and got rid of our best striker for 50k and did little else. then adams fell out with everyone, bought in load of lazy has-beens and then lost his marballs.

IMO we had sunk to the lowest we have been for ten years. Then came CL. He is the first manager that has come in and actually made some changes that where improvments. instead of the reverse. He has given me confidence about our future, he seams to know what he wants and is working to get it, building for the future, we can all see that and though the results dont seam to reflect the improvments, all we need is someone who can score goals and we will be ok. (MDV has been disapointing)

With money being so tight in scotish football maybe his hands where tied up there or maybe due to the players we have, he has more options available. But we have seen glimpses of quality football that hopefully are a sign of the future. I dont know why your view dont agree with ours but I do know your views are not in line with the majority of the city fans (Except Chandler) or Hearts fans, so we are very defensive about him.

No offence, mate, but what the f*ck has it got to do with you ?

I notice the magnificent improvement in Hearts' fortunes since Superman left, and it will be a long time 'til you see the same success again

There's always one - what a pillock (no offence) - MATE!

I don't usually debate with the brain dead however obviously you haven't a scobby what's going on at Hearts!

For your information -

We've been to one cup semi and we're about to play in another - when "Superman" was here we usually got knocked out in the 1st round to lower league opposition!

We're only 5 points off 3rd place and still in with a great shout of European football next season (you better book an 18 - 30 holiday if YOU want to go to Europe Mate)

Hearts are now playing attacking FOOTBALL, not the one man up, lump it up the park to MDV rubbish "Superman" had us playing. Results have been inconsistant however when Robertson get shot of the crap left behind by CL (by the way thanks for taking Kisnorbo :D ) we'll surpass anything Levein EVER achieved at Hearts.

There's always one. Homer you plank.
