More reasons why i hate Peter Taylor

Didn't realise until i was reading the fox that he forced Steve Walsh out of the club he loved.

walsh and cottee. both wanted the job and taylor got in ahead of them and decided the situation wasnt going to work, as he is a twat

That's the Cottee that took Barnet out of the Football league is it? And the Walsh whose not worked or qualified as a football coach? Great players, but that's a decision Taylor got right

i doubt they could have done more damage than taylor did. for 1 they might not have recieved the same stupid funding.

It amazes me how people completley dismiss the coaching/management merits of one of our gretaest players without any real reasoning. Steve Walsh in the right capacity at this club could be inspirational.

i just dont think he would be any good i wouldnt have a problem with him being on the coaching staff i take it you think he would be ok as a boss

I am unsure but I dont think we should dismiss him out of hand. I don't know where the anti-Walsh feeling comes from, thats all.

Didn't he manage Tamworth for a time ?

Did he?

He played there under Gary Mills - maybe he took over for a while when Mills went to coach cov. Walsh then went to cov for a while and had a superb playing career for them :icon_lol:

Gary left Tamworth to take up the post of First Team Coach at Coventry City, and the club moved swiftly to appoint his former assistant Darron Gee in the hot seat.


So it doesn't look like Walsh was ever in charge there.

im not anti walsh durham far from it he is my all time fave city player just dont want him taking the city job and ballsing it up and blurring my admiration for him :icon_lol:
