As we've seen from the Cafe wannabe - Deeney has signed a new deal at Watford. So he's out of the running for us. Personally glad we didn't send so much money on a player of his calibre - not that I'm doubting his ability, it's just don't think he's a world beater worth so much.

Of course in Walsh we trust, but I'm sure there are other options out there.
 
Glad Deeney isn't coming.

Good player, but really not any better than Shinji or Leo, especially considering ridiculous money being talked about.
 
Deeney could well have been a smoke screen to urge Vardy to sign, or in the event he left. Timing seems more than coincidental.

He's done to us what Vardy did to Arsenal. Fair enough.

The fact that Watford can do this to us and we can do that to Arsenal, and CP can bid £25m for Benteke shows what a crazy place the PL is with the new money.

He hasn't as there was no agreement between the clubs
 
If Kante has to go it would be good if he went to a club outside the Prem. Also I don't really fancy a few quid plus Mario Lemina for him from Juve. Lemina looks raw and temperamentalet which would be a big gamble. If it paid off then great but highly likely that it wouldn't.
Mendy looks a cracking player in the Kante mould.
Keane, Musa and another big striker will see us good I think....
We'll end up having spent about 40m net which feels about right...
