I agree. I think Vardy will stay because he just fits really well with our system and style of play, and I doubt he'd want to chance being a bench warmer at his age.

Mahrez and Schmeichel are both gone IMO.

Pretty sure that if Shaky is booted then we can say goodby to "our system and style of play". Kick out the precious, the feckless and the overly-comfortable, and get in players who won't rely on the long ball and pashun.

Everton is not an upwards move for anyone at this club. They're about to lose their two best players and even with them I don't think they've got what it takes to break the top 6.

Lot of swirl around Gray at the minute.

For me, if a 20 year old get the hump because he thinks he should be playing week in week out when he's got two highly experienced wingers in front of him...well...seeya.

I don't blame him for getting the hump to be honest. He has sat on the bench all season watching that show pony Mahrez fanny about with the ball, and barely getting a sniff himself.

He has also experienced Musa being picked ahead of him on the wing on occasions.

Last season, fair enough. But this season he should have had more opportunities.

I think many of the players will wait to see who is appointed manager before they decide to stay or go.

They already know that outside the top 4 or 5 clubs, we have the best infrastructure, the best owners committed to ambitious developments, and big funding available.

In the last year or so I do not think any of our offloads have cost us a huge amount. Some like Hernandez have turned a profit in fees. We are not a selling club, but I am sure the new manager will want to offload those not deemed to be Top 6 class material.

We've been associated with 2 names this morning that would be great signings. Mourhino wants to get rid of Chris Smalling. I think he should become our number 1 priority. Good CB will become captain eventually, massive upgrade on Morgan, would get his England place back at Leicester. Secondly Debuchy from Arsenal, 31 isn't young but would immediately be our no.1 RB allowing Simpson to take the back-up spot that he deserves.

That would fill 2 of our biggest needs with another CB up next.

Gibson as the other CB signing. Smalling, Gibson and Debuchy would then leave us looking at back-ups throughout the squad and replacemnts for anyone who leaves.

Debuchy

Holy shit, I've heard it all now

Comedy gold, this thread

Stop living in the past.
Right..........

So where does the love for Debuchy come from, have you seen his future? Or perhaps it was his incredible 13 games for Arsenal?
