Better to have loved and lost, etc, etc.

Exactly.

Should we have refused to bring in Kante seeing as he insisted on a release clause? Absolutely not.

We experienced something extraordinary which none of us thought we'd see in our life times, plus we made a few quid.

I can't see that. It would be madness. What if Man City said at Christmas they made a mistake and wanted him back? No club would agree to that sort of arrangement.

It's been said that the buy back fee would be £40 million. I think most clubs would spend £15 million on a player now if it means they can make a £25 million profit in 6 months.

I guess it depends on the buy back fee but I'm not keen on it. Basically it seems like a gamble we can't really win... if he's crap we've paid out a high fee and it's our loss and if he's decent - Man City will have him back. Hopefully there's a handsome profit in there for the time and effort we've put into developing the player.
The other point is it will allow big clubs to buy up talent and use this method to keep hold of their talent, do not like it one little bit.

Pep has confirmed Iheanacho is leaving, so hopefully that means it's very close to being done!

Fine. But what about Ihavenachos?

Ihavenachos....ohh ohh ohh
Ihavenachos....ohh ohh ohh
His name sounds like a sneeze
He's better than DeVries

And if City end up buying him back within the 4 years he'll have been superb for us

I think this will be brilliant for us.

We potentially get a great goal scorer cheap for a couple of years. Can't see us agreeing to less than that, as the player would not be committed to us if it was just like an ordinary loan deal.

If he is less than brilliant, Man City will not want him back, so we have an excellent squad player cheap, or someone else might offer a large fee.

If he is brilliant, he will attract other great players to us, and we might end up winning a cup or qualifying for EL or CL.

Seems like a win-win for us. Unless he turns out to be another Musa, but he does have some PL experience, 5(15).

Iheanacho scores a PL goal approx every 130 minutes, Kane scores a PL goal approx every 90 minutes.

"Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny has turned down a £10m move to Leicester City – because he enjoys life in London too much."

Good riddance. Do not want someone who is more interested in casinos and bars than being a professional player.

Unless of course it is the opera and art galleries that he enjoys so much!

Do these idiots not realise they could still live in London

They do realise that Leicester, however much we may love it, is a crappy town centre surrounded by nice countryside.
