Wouldn't have thought anyone would sit near a cop, unless he/she was off duty.:icon_lol:
on or off duty there is still the stench

MHS would love the bacon smell
What a pointless thread, is the thread starter N Block under another name?
I was thinking the same BG, see posts 54 & 55.
I dont think moving the family stand would be a problem Your biggest problem would be the Old Bill sanctioning it .
what if I dont like Jaffa cakes?:icon_lol:As has already been said, you can forget any idea of the away fans being moved. The away area was designed specifically to be closest the exit. There is no way in the world there will ever be away fans walking around the ground at the end of a game, in a fairly confined space, mixing with home fans. Won't happen, end of.
Moving the kop - or moreover, moving the people that want to be near the away fans - shouldnt be too difficult, should it? Why do you have to get the club to tell you where to sit?! Does it matter what it's called?
So here's my solution to the whole problem, which I honestly think would work:
1. Take about a third of the stadium, the away end third.
2. Draw a box within that area, and write in Away Supporters. For the sake of convenience, let's use the bit that is currently where the away supporters sit.
3. Call everything else in that third of the stadium, either side of the Away Supporters, the Kop.
4. Go home, have a nice cup of tea. And maybe a Jaffa Cake if you're feeling frivolous.
I think the contempt that is shown towards members of the Family Stand is nothing short of shocking.
I'm not just referring to this thread I'm referring to the attitude in general. The kids are the future support of this club, deal with it.
The club had a survey a few seasons back asking the fans if they wanted the Kop moving, and although the response was poor (possibly as there was very little real promotion of the survey....) the majority of respondents wanted to keep the stadium layout as it is.
Wasn't that only last season? The survey was advertised on the website, survey sheets were included in the programme and were available on the concourses. Anybody who had an opinion on it would have been able to respond. The fact is that there was very few people in favour of swapping the Kop and the Family Stand.

Lookd like the whole N block - L block - South Stand thing again.
Makes no difference where you sit, if the football is worth watchig, the fans will make a noise.
Those who think that it needs us to make a noise before the players will perform to their best are barking up a very wrong tree.
