In my view, this will be the moment that we look back on a few years down the line and say "that was when we really landed at the top table".

Who the f_eck knows, but why can't this be an opportunity to progress rather then regress
 
It's also possible that Walsh isn't as good as we think, and as the Head of the department just gets the credit for others work. Perhaps he is leaving before he gets found out?

Or is that too controversial?
