It really was. He is and probably will forever be truly, genuinely, honest-to-Satan, one of the most overrated, pigeon-brained, zero-dimensional, catastrophically unuseful players I’ve ever had the misfortune to witness. He appeared so ill-suited to a career in professional football that I was almost convinced we had made a whopping clerical error. From his first competitive game at Coventry, where we only kept a clean sheet via what I assume was a combination of luck, shit opposition, and voodoo, he was utterly, devastatingly, embarrassingly clueless in virtually every situation he was presented with.

I can laugh off a crap player we signed for pennies. For all the above, Josh Low was definitely a worse footballer by almost every possible measure, but he didn’t cost five million bastarding quid.

Matt Mills is the embodiment of everything that was wrong with the SGE era of LCFC; the talent-free impostors magically tricking our club into forking over obscene amounts of money, the cancerous complacency, the childish petulance, the unearned arrogant swagger of perpetual losers who for some reason imagine they’re winning just because they’re an irrelevant part of something moderately successful.

**** everything Matt Mills represents to this club. I hope whoever signed him chokes on a bag of dicks.
Not a fan then?

Shame. Not the best but played some great games for us and was a significant player in our climb back to the Premier League.

Hopefully he was in a era when wages were starting to climb, maybe £5000 - £10000 per week, so he should be able to enjoy his retirement without having to get an 'ordinary' job like the rest of us.

Nils-Eric Johansson forced to retire due to a heart problem.

Article in Swedish;

Google translate snippet:

"At the annual cardiac examination conducted by AIK Fotball, it has been found that Nils-Eric Johansson has a deterioration of a previously documented aberration on the heart. The consequence of that is that that change in turn has caused a certain effect on the pulmonary artery’’

I for one find it bizarre that not only has he spelled his own name wrong in his Twitter handle, but the URL of his website as well. What are the odds?

Watching the Everton Vs Burnley game. Chris Wood has been absolutely exceptional since he came on at HT. A proper striker's performance.

I liked it when Woods played for us.

Go on then, fill your boots .

He deserved more of a chance in the Premier League than we gave him for sure.
