England U21 left back with a bright future , but brain dead with shite parental advice.

The likes of Luke Chadwick played for the u21s. Sometimes there's little to explain how players get their rep and chance.

I dunno, had he stayed and played more games he would have had a better career but he wasted crucial years not playing

Could have....who knows for sure. I just think he was massively overrated after one good appearance against Barnsley or Preston or somewhere else in Yorkshire/Manc Yorkshire. He ran the left channel with pace and pretty much feck all else to show. I think both us and Mattock will have done much better financially out of him forcing a move when he had an overblown reputation.

Aston Villa are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater on loan in January. The 29-year-old, who has three England caps, is currently on loan at Burnley. (Sky Sports)

Nothing in the cup for DD then.... because he drank everything in it and got in his car like a bellend.

The only argument over DD is when he stopped playing. Some say in the first half of 2016/17 and others say the end. Either way that's a long time he's pissed away.....possibly pissed too.

Thanks for that, I can remember: "Lloyd Dyer, Andy King, Matt Oakley, Richie Wellens; Matt Fryatt, Steve Howard" and a couple of the subs but all the others have faded from memory. Hopefully the team that starts 2020 will live long in our memories, and Happy New Year to us all !

Chris “I can’t save shots that are taken more than 8 yards from my face” Weale. He must have used radar rather than sight.

7,116 minutes of Paul Gallagher; roughly 7,096 of them spent being frustrating.

A few there I have absolutely no memory of - Lamey, Dragovic, Bednar, Moreno, Miquel, Cunningham, Kennedy.
