Bristol City boss Nigel Pearson was back in the dugout after missing two matches due to contracting Covid-19 for a second time.

Article with Julian Joachim on the Athletic. Didn’t know he had a book out. Talks about gambling problems. Also didn’t know he’d appeared in the Hannibal movie!

A real childhood hero of mine. That season with him and Walsh up front was a great time up until Paul Bodin destroyed it. The first time I genuinely thought we’d have a real superstar of our own. Then Julian became Joachim (toe) by the time we’d got up to the Prem sadly.

Walsh/Joachin gives me fond memories of different times both in football and life.

St Etienne are bottom of the table with 0 wins and 4 points from 10 games. Ouch.

Not enough quality or intensity.

I’m not sure Ive ever hated watching a Leicester side more than the one Puel would put out. Perhaps Taylor.

Even the period of 8 right backs was good for a laugh.

A terrible manager that had the helicopter tragedy not happened, I'm sure would have been gone after that West Ham game.

I wanted him gone after the Bournemouth match in March of the season before, after he was only 5 months into his tenure.

We were 8th in the league, but even still it was clear back then that something wasn’t right and it was never going to work.

I'm getting a bit sick of the way various media outlets have started using the term " ultras " regularly

It was in 2 seperate reports about the trouble before the St Etienne game.

A decent journalist should be avoiding the use of trendy terminology & stick to the correct phrase.

Knuckle dragging thug ****s.

Rolls off the tongue & makes a point.
