Before joining City, a 29-year-old Wasilewski suffered a gruesome double leg fracture with Anderlecht, returning after nine months, six months earlier than expected.
This season, he tore the meniscus in his left knee, but played on, completed the 90 minutes, underwent surgery, before returning just six weeks later.
He makes Robert Huth look like Neymar in terms of hardness.

How that can be classed as a Waghorn goal is beyond me. It wouldn’t have been classed as an own goal if it had hit a Villa player instead.
