If anybody is talking to him next week at the Crewe game please ask him to keep the same number :icon_wink

62' cup final- why would you want a spuds or burnley shirt??
63' cup final city shirt maybe:icon_bigg

I've got a Burnley shirt, some dude at the away game there years ago thought it was classic that I'd gone from Edinburgh to Burnley for the game on New Years Day :icon_lol:

I'll probably get the new shirt (first time in a long while) if I ever get myself out of debt

I would think Hobbs is very likely to change number next season to be honest...

I'd try and change the order so you can get the number added later really..

Graz,I think I will do that as the shirt was for a Friend in Croatia.I will contact them tomorrow with the Receipt order number to ask them to hold off on the name and number till it's it's confirmed.:038:

I don't think its too bad, but the lack of imagination shown by JOMA with the design is poor as Charlton & Cardiff's club badge's are also positioned in the centre of the shirts too.

Perhaps they should have put it on the left. That would have made us unique throughout the entire football league. :icon_roll

i quite like it. i would have prefered it to be more old fashioned but hey, at least we've got white shorts back

i think most non lcfc folk will begin to think Joma is our shirt sponsor - not great marketing from lcfc that the manuf name is more prevalent then the actual brand (lcfc)

Just read the Dickov story on the Mercury's website, and it says at the bottom that the Shirt will be without a sponsor for just one season.

If it says that it is wrong.

Leicester City fans deserve promotion - Paul Dickov

Veteran striker Paul Dickov believes Leicester City's rapid return to the Championship has lifted the “doom and gloom” felt by the club's supporters in the past couple of years.

The 36-year-old Scottish striker said: “It has been a bit hard around the place, especially with the doom and gloom of relegation last season, but the lads have been fantastic this season and so has the management and the chairman (Milan Mandaric).”

For Dickov, this was a second promotion celebration at the club because his 20-goal tally in 2002-03 helped City to climb out of the Championship as runners-up behind Portsmouth.

This time around, the former Manchester City and Blackburn man has played only a supporting role in the Leicester promotion cause. He made just four starts and 16 appearances off the bench after undergoing surgery on a back injury which threatened to end his career.

However, he has been quick to acknowledge the club's achievement in winning the League One crown which they received in front of 30,000 fans at the Walkers Stadium on Friday night following a 2-2 draw with Scunthorpe.

Dickov said: “Before the game, the manager (Nigel Pearson) said that, when we played Scunthorpe back in November and won there, we went to the top of the table, and we haven't been off it since. That is a massive credit to everyone associated with the club.”

Dickov, who rejoined City on a two-year deal last August, said he has enjoyed his return to the club where his special rapport with the fans remains, despite his limited involvement.

He said: “I've enjoyed the season and it's been great for the fans.

“We had a sell-out on Friday night and to get more than 30,000 for a League One game is fantastic.

“Everybody who has got anything to do with the club deserves the success. It has been tough at times but I think one of the key things has been the performances of the young players who have excelled.”

Leicester City's new home kit, unveiled at Friday night's game, will be without a sponsor for only one season.

Good old Mercury :icon_roll

Mercury: Leicester City's new home kit, unveiled at Friday night's game, will be without a sponsor for only one season.

Football Club: The new kit design will feature a one-off, commemorative club badge emblazoned on the shirt next season, as part of the club's 125 year anniversary. The shirt will then feature the regular club badge for the following season and will be sponsor-less for both seasons, for the first time since the 1982/83 season.

Looks like the material that pulls easily.

The thing you notice more than anything else straight away is 'JOMA'. Shame that..

It does seem out of proportion with the badge.

I had been thinking of buying this, my first since I was a kid in the seventies. But I won't be buying it.
I had hoped that they would go with something traditional looking but the design is crap, and (as with all clothes) the manufacturer's name should be on the label on the inside, not on the front.

What they all said.

What's the point of "not having a shirt sponsor" and then emblazoning it with the name of the company that owns the sweatshop in Indonesia that's knocking them out?

No sponsorship my arse!
