True, in an infinite multiuniverse just about any result was possible - I should have have said "probably" beaten them 2-0.

Why do you think it would have probably been 2-0?

We might have been happy with 0-0. Or if we'd taken the lead we might have parked the bus for the rest of the game.
We haven't had a two goal lead away from home at any stage this season. So 2-0 to us looks highly improbable.

The way both teams are playing I can see QPR beating both Liverpool and Newcastle and you never know which Man City team are going to turn up, so it's possible.

This season has confirmed that any team can beat any other team on the day. I don't believe that Sunderland or anyone else is going to just roll over. We need a good number of points yet........ the target required has gone up in recent weeks. The fact is that there are agreat many teams in the league who have already started their summer hols..and can't be relied on to do too much against our rivals home or away.

Current [before tonight's game] odds from #####:

QPR - 1/40
Burnley - 1/16
Sunderland - 3/10
City - 5/1
Villa - 13/2
Newcastle - 12/1
Hull - 14/1
West Brom - 125/1

I don't think anybody could have thought we would get much out of Chelsea but the bookies (Ladbrokes in this case) have altered their position a bit:

To be relegated:
QPR - 1/33
Burnley - 1/18
Sunderland - 4/11
City - 7/2
Villa - 11/2
Newcastle - 12/1
Hull - 12/1
West Brom - 125/1

I am not a betting man, but does that mean the bookies think that because we lost to Chelsea, who have only lost twice all season, we are now slightly more likely to stay up?

Is that because they did not give us a spanking, or because we took the lead?

Just the opposite. It means that they think we are slightly less likely to stay up.

They are bookies, they have no opinion on what is likely to happen, they respond to betting trends in order to cover potential payouts.

Most Leicester fans think they're doomed and wouldn't be surprised if they get no more points this season.

Yep, I remember this

Well....Southampton are down a man and a goal.

Getting shagged by scores at the moment.

If Southampton lose they'll probably give up on 5th and roll over for us!
