There is simply no way that every one of Hull, Newcastle, Villa, AND Sunderland will all get to 37 points or above

It. Just. Won't. Happen

Pussies, the lot of you

QPR and Burnley both in a world of shit after today, everyone else bar Newcastle still fighting.

Worth keeping an eye on Arsenal too, they play Hull and Sunderland.

I'm going to have to spend the next two weeks learning how to act like Mackem.

Oh no - you're going to be smashing up minibuses!!!

Arsenal hold the real key. They must not let Sunderland get anything out of that game in hand.

QPR and Burnley need to win all remaining games, can't see that happening. Realistically, QPR are unlikely to have anything to play for when they come to Leicester. Avoid defeat to Sunderland and it'll take some amazing results for us to go down*

*amazing results are available.

A key feature is the number of Premier League sides that have nothing to play for. This is distorting the expected pattern of results. We are trlying a bit on Arsenal still being sufficiently motivated to put in performances against Hull and Sunderland.

I think we may well have to find a route to survival which factors in a potential loss at Sunderland.

It's becoming increasingly evident that we can't rely on the big boys for sod all. Man U currently 1-0 down at home to West Brom. This will likely make them safe. 37-38 points should be enough.

Follow Spion's plan of winning all of our games, ignoring Chelsea, and we have nothing to worry about.

Before Chelsea

To be relegated:
QPR - 1/40
Burnley - 1/16
Sunderland - 3/10
City - 5/1
Villa - 13/2
Newcastle - 12/1
Hull - 14/1
West Brom - 125/1

After Chelsea

To be relegated:
QPR - 1/33
Burnley - 1/18
Sunderland - 4/11
City - 7/2
Villa - 11/2
Newcastle - 12/1
Hull - 12/1
West Brom - 125/1

Now, after Newcastle, the money on deposit at the bookies says that investors now feel that both Newcastle and Hull are more likely to go down than we are.

To be relegated:
QPR - 1/250
Burnley - 1/150
Sunderland - 4/6
Newcastle - 11/2
Hull - 11/2
City - 6/1
Villa - 16/1
West Brom - 100/1

As you did earlier in the thread, I think that is generous for a team who remain just 1 point away from the drop.
