New song for Kisnorbo!

Some have been bemoaning the lack of 'player songs' and will therefore be delighted to hear that a new song for Kisnorbo emerged just before half-time and was thereafter sung at intervals during the match.

Now, I'm sure that some of you will immediately recognise the tune as 'Volare' and say, "But but but the third and fourth lines don't fit". What you don't realise (unless you were at the match to witness this great masterpiece) is that only the furst, second, fifth and sixth lines are sung to Volarefirst - the third and fourth lines are... eeerrr... well... the third and fourth lines are pitched and held to whatever notes the assembled masses can manage.

I can sense that you are all looking forward to hearing it at New Filbo next week. I know you will be impressed.

After a while some people started to sing "But now he's dynamite", which I think is fairer to Paddy, he had another very good game today.

I agree that the song was "funny" the first time it was sang, however it became far less so as the game wore on and the words began to sink in, Paddy was never "shite" he was simply being played out of position and he is now much more than "alright" he is superb, I am also fortunate enough to have a friend on the football side of the club and I soon received a text informing me that PK does in fact hate the words sang at him, all players love to hear their names sang and applaud us for doing it but to constantly sing insults at one of our best players is not on and I suggest we have a re think as to the lyrics of this song asap !

Paddy Mac has a huge career ahead of him IMO.

i remember when he played his first four games for us away from home(Burnley,Blackburn in the Cup, Watford and West Ham) and i was telling people who hadn't seen him play yet how much he reminded me of Steve Walsh when he first joined the Club.

if he does manages to do half of what Walshy did whilst here then he's on course to be alright! well...he's trying to match his red card tally already!


as for the song, i suppose i do agree with MB in a way, which is why i mentioned what Kisnorbo thought of it if he could hear it.
