Cheers. We never do well there and it is a turning point I believe. 7 points from the last three games against Preston/Tractors/Burnley. Still, the best we can realistically hope for is the play-offs. Could be another trip to Wembley in the offing.
And Ched Evans coming in January.

Harold Pinter or Eartha Kitt anyone ??

Harold Pinter=me

Eartha Kitt=Rhydal

so that's

Rhydal: 2
Chuck T, Drummin, Boc & Darth Vodka: 1
the rest: zero

in the event of someone catching Rhydal...he wins by earliest death (think i will change the rule to be that the one that dies the youngest for next season)

will do a re-posting of an up-to-date spready in Jan once i'm back at work :)

Just made a phone call to the CIA. They were very interested in your insider knowledge on this. Expect a knock at your door very soon.

ok attached is the end of year (ish) update

next year: not only am i going to do "youngest death wins in the event of a tie" to make it more interesting and perhaps persuading people away from the very old...

i'm also thinking of giving the current players the option to retain as many of their current list as they want...before opening it up as a free for all...i may have to do some polls

BBC's Vine dies of heart attack

Vine was the first presenter to introduce Wimbledon in colour
Veteran BBC sports broadcaster David Vine has died of a heart attack at the age of 73.

Vine fronted a huge list of shows, including Match of the Day, A Question of Sport, Grandstand and Ski Sunday.

He also hosted the BBC's Olympic, snooker and tennis coverage, It's A Knock Out, Miss World and the Eurovision Song Contest.

Vine celebrated his birthday in this month and died on Sunday night at home, near Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire.

He had triple heart by-pass surgery several years ago.

Vine's publicist Paul Madeley said that since the broadcaster's retirement he had continued working as a consultant for the BBC. 606: DEBATE
The doyen of snooker presenters will be fondly remembered

TS

Paul Madeley described Vine as "a true and utter gentleman at all times."

He added: "I don't know of anybody who is regarded as he was in terms of his professionalism and dedication, whether he was presenting or commentating.

"He was like a member of my family. He was that close
