Some good stuff in the first half after our equaliser that we didn't capitalise on but that was mostly pretty shit.. but oh well, **** it. 3 points and in 8th. Happy days and in a season where we were worrying if we'd stay up - we might be able to pinch a place in Europe.

Puel's first 3 consecutive wins in England and Benitez' first three consecutive home defeats.

MOM - Ndidi, rightfully so.
Ndidi is getting better

Lucky and undeserved. Too complacent, too sloppy and mostly too slow.

They need a good kick up the arse and I hope he gets them in tomorrow for extra training or a snowball fight.

Since making the obvious decision to ditch Shakespeare, our form has been excellent generally. Seventeen points from eight games. Had we that sort of return all season, we'd be third.

The team responding to Appleton and then Puel much better. And Shakey will be happy enough discussing the merchandise in Greggs with Allardyce and Unsworth. Everything has ended up well.

Just a mighty shame that we didn't make a bolder decision in the summer.

By far the better team by a country mile, and one or two moments of sheer magic. We really should have shat all over them, 'cos they are bobbins

Pity we nearly duffed it up by strange fits of lethargy and sloppiness on a number of occasions - was a very strange, generally low quality game

But another three points, and it's harsh to complain about anything right now

From BBC

Mahrez has been directly involved in eight goals in 16 appearances in the Premier League this season (four goals and four assists), which is just one fewer than in 36 games last season, when he managed six goals and three assists.

How the **** did we nearly **** that up?

We were sloppy, slow and complacent and as a result we nearly let the biggest piece of shit team back in the game.

Luckily they are equally as shit and calamitous at the back and we snatched it.

Our defending concerns me, no awareness of opposition position and generally appalling at leaving men in space.

Having said all that, we have some good footballers who are capable of pulling us through in games like tonight.

The new man is doing a good job, I was most relieved when he looked as pissed off as I did at our general complacency and poor defending.
