It was an assist from vardy my point is he is creating alot for us

He has no assists this season and in my opinion he isn't doing anywhere near enough in games to justify his constant untouchable status.

Constantly offside despite being the fastest man on the pitch is also a bit annoying.

Needed nine stitches following the match.

If that’s true then I’m surprised. What about his cross for the goal against West Ham? He is consistently a pest and makes things happen. And he scores goals at the top level against the top teams. That’s why he’s untouchable in our current roster of strikers.

Seriously? I don't think there's another player in this league that offers what Vardy does. Got caught offside a few times tonight I agree, but always capable of making things happen and never stops working.

I absolutely agree. He's been great this season, better than great for most of it. He's constantly making great runs, chasing down defenders, causing havoc and contributes with goals. I don't know what people want from him.

His contribution is phenomenal and often overlooked because he seems to have little time on the ball compared to others but this is often no fault of his own.

Third game on motd

He is awesome. He sets the tempo when he pushes on, he chases lost causes and wins more than he is entitled to. He scores goals. His first touch is generally exceptional. He is aware of the position of his team-mates and makes exceptional crosses. He puts his body on the line, game after game. He is a natural goal scorer. He is unselfish to a fault.

He can score a variety of goals. He defends well. His heading has improved and is now good. He is generous in his appreciation of his team-mates.

He is our talisman.

About 16 other teams in our league would swap him with their main striker.

Apart from that though, he is useless.

Vardy is unique in so many ways. He might be a horrible twat but he's our horrible twat, and in the same way that people forgive some of Riyad's shortcomings, I think Vardy gets under appreciated as an amazing leader and as being equally capable of producing the completely sublime.

Having said that I'd still like to see Slim and Iheanacho get a chance.....

Personally think some of the criticism of the performance are not justified.

The first half we basically ran the show. Created numerous good openings and other than the first 5 mins it was all us.

The second half was mixed. Definitely a lot more sloppy passing and defending from everyone, but we still created chances and had a decent amount of possession.

Vardy was mostly shut down by a deep Newcastle defence who were afraid of losing so never went forward.

Some sloppy errors on our part but at least they were trying to win the game right up to to the 94th minute.

An honourable mention for Fuchs and Ulloa. I know some on here would rather they never appeared in a Leicester shirt again but they played a crucial role at the end.

That 4 minutes of keepy-in around the corner flag was brilliant. It is not 'proper' football but it certainly helped to ensure Newcastle could not launch a last ditch attack against us.
