for the record I think this one has been crap so far. It’s got 0-0 written all over it

It has been flexible over recent weeks - 4 at the back when dominating the ball and then 5 at the back when under pressure.

Today it’s been 100% 4 at the back due to the way the match is playing out, in which case we should be looking to put Perez or Ünder on for Albrighton at half time.

I get it if we're up against a strong opponent but it doesn't work against a useless side like Newcastle.

It also allows Barnes to hide which he tends to do when he's not put in a key role.

I much prefer a three at the back with these players. Possibly with Ricardo and Soyuncu back in the team we can adjust it but not otherwise.
