There's no defending Puel. The line up should have been enough to win, that much is true but he has no idea how to adapt to teams that defend deep. He has absolutely no plan B and this is problematic. Today for example, taking Simpson off and not replacing him with Ricardo meant that our biggest attacking threat had to drop deeper thus nullifying his threat somewhat. Inevitably, as soon as pressure was applied to him he did something daft. A proper RB would have had that covered.
