Surely if the odds dropped you’d be cashing out less than you staked?

If the odds dropped by more than a small amount the payout you'd get would be somewhere between the odds when you placed the bet, and what the odds are now.

The odds on us winning the league in 15/16 dropped during the season, and some people cashed out half way through the season with big wins.

Imagine if you'd cashed out on Preki then put it all on us to win the league.

There has been a lot of money placed on Wagner over the last few days. That is despite there being no media links for more than two weeks. This interests me.

He's now 7/4 favourite to be our next manager (Paddy Power). He was 20/1 not long ago and his odds have steadily come in.

Remember this article from Neil Ashton: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/4725118/leicester-manager-jon-rudkin-craig-shakespeare/

Stranger things have happened . . .
How much did you put on to bring the odds down that much?
A pair of 1978 plimsoles and a size 20 gymslip all from the lost property box?

Brown Nose in his alternative world of denial where the manager of Leicester City is anyone but Claude Puel...

Christ BN, just let it go will you? By this point, the owners clearly aren't planning to get rid right now. You need to just move on.

If they were going to get rid of him, he'd be gone by now before we started signing players. The fact he's still here means the owners are backing him, so it's time for you to accept that. At this point, your campaign against Puel is becoming a little embarrassing.

I'm sure this will fall on deaf ears, but the best thing you could do now is accept he's here, back the team, and hope for improvements.

You're quite right of course. I have nothing positive or constructive to add to these discussions at the moment. All I can see is a repeat of the summer of 2001 and it is doing nobody any good reading me whining on, repeating the same opinions. I started typing my reaction to the Grealish speculation and stopped myself.

I'll do you all a favour and take a sabbatical from posting for a few months. I'll either come back happier or join you all in wallowing in misery!

That’s my fear also.

The fact that we were rubbish and tremendously boring to watch with Mahrez in the team, and now he’s going, I can’t say I’m particularly looking forward to the season starting.
