The scoreline was a little deceptive in that game, but the fact that it was our second team against a strong selection from them really should not be forgotten

The avowed aim of LCFC is to survive in the Premier League this season. The only potential candidate to fit that brief is David Moyes.

I just want to say, this thread is great reading.
Thank you all.

How annoying is Potter. I mean, just how good does he think HE is? Holding out from Leicester and waiting for who?? Who does he think is good enough for him? He strikes me as mid table, maybe a bit Spursy, but surely the likes of Newcastle, the only top side I can think k of who might be looking, wouldn't touch him? He must be waiting for some foreign club?

He does come across as having an inflated opinion of himself. But saying that, can you really blame any manager for being cautious about taking the Leicester job?

He’s probably sat at home counting all that cash Chelsea had to pay him to end his contract, and thinking about bothering to mend that broken cupboard door or not.

The proper question is if he’s said “No. Leicester, I don’t want to join your club”

Then why are we still asking him? 49 nos and a yes means yes?

I've just had a read/listen to some Van Nistelrooy stuff.

I don't get it. What makes him a viable candidate?

He's just a name who has done very little in management.

It might as well be Lampard if this is our approach.

We need a manager with the knowledge and authority to get a tune out of a muddled and technically challenged squad.

Where is the evidence that Van Nistelrooy has this?
