There are, in my opinion, seven teams (on top of Colchester and Scunthorpe) that can still be relegated and sat at the top of the seven showers of shite are Norwich.

Looking at the remaining games, Norwich have West Brom at home tomorrow, then QPR at home and finally Sheffield Wednesday away on the final day.

We all know what West Brom are capable of so that one will be tough, QPR are unbeaten in six games so that won't be an easy one either and the final game of the season could see a very determined Sheffield Wednesday play at their best at Hillsborough.

They also have a shoddy goal difference (minus 9) so I think that they could quite easily be dragged down into the pits of relegation.

I hope so any way.

i reckon it could be southampton

Coventry me thinks will be making an exit...........all together aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

Has anybody done a 3 remaining fixture list for this mini-league that includes Norwich, and can you point me to it?

I believe that it is still mathematically possible for any of 9 clubs to join Scunthorpe and Colchester in relegation to League One:

QPR
Preston
Norwich
Barnsley
Blackpool
Southampton
Sheff Wed
Coventry
Leicester

These are their remaining fixtures - I have highlighted the 6-pointers:

19th April
Barnsley vs Leicester
Blackpool vs Sheff Wed
Colchester vs Coventry
Norwich vs West Brom
Plymouth vs Preston
QPR vs Charlton
Southampton vs Burnley

26th April
Barnsley vs Charlton
Coventry vs Wolves
Leicester vs Sheff Wed
Norwich vs QPR
Plymouth vs Blackpool
Preston vs Ipswich

28th April
West Brom vs Southampton

4th May
Blackpool vs Watford
Bristol C vs Preston
Cardiff vs Barnsley
Charlton vs Coventry
QPR vs West Brom
Sheff Wed vs Norwich
Southampton vs Sheff Utd
Stoke vs Leicester

So Mathematically, if we win all our remaining games and Sheffield Wedsnesday lose all theirs we will stay up?

Apparently our goal differnece is worth an extra point so add that beauty into the equation and it's plain for all to see.

We're desperate.

Or to put it another way:

QPR - 55 points (-2 GD)
Charlton (h)
Norwich (a)
West Brom (h)

Preston - 54 points (-3 GD)
Plymouth (a)
Ipswich (h)
Bristol C(a)

Norwich - 52 points (-9 GD)
West Brom (h)
QPR (h)
Sheff Wed (a)

Barnsley - 52 points (-12 GD)
Leicester (h)
Charlton (h)
Cardiff(a)

Blackpool - 50 points (-3 GD)
Sheff Wed (h)
Plymouth(a)
Watford (h)

Southampton - 50 points (-16 GD)
Burnley (h)
West Brom(a)
Sheff Utd (h)

Sheff Wed - 49 points (-5 GD)
Blackpool (a)
Leicester (a)
Norwich (h)

Coventry - 49 points (-13 GD)
Colchester(a)
Wolves (h)
Charlton(a)

Leicester - 48 points (-2 GD)
Barnsley (a)
Sheff Wed (h)
Stoke (a)

I wonder if it will become significant that the three clubs in most danger have only one home game left each, whilst all except one of the others have two.

Nice one Boc, you even put us bottom of a list that you could have helped us alphabetically.

Shame on you!

I did ponder on the question of doing that. I decided that we are where we are.

No doubt 'Ollie' has been too busy perfecting his tactical prowess and practicing his massive motivational skills for the Barnsley game to notice that it would only take a shift of a couple of goals or so for Blackpool and Wednesday to overhaul our current goal difference advantage.

I just hope that he understands that his players need to get off their collective ars.s and bring back at least 1 point from Barnsley. To be honest I think they will.
