I would say Barnsley have got the hardest 3 left.

Really - I don't think so.

I thought they were in real trouble but I sense that their recent back to back wins makes them as good as safe. In any case their last match is Cardiff (a). The record of sides playing within a couple of weeks of an FA Cup Final is generally dire - if they have nothing in the league to play for (and i don't see Cardiff as serious play off contenders). If Barnsley were to need a win from that last game then I will put money on them.

it's Cov for me, look then look again at the table and believe...

Any mini-revival under Coleman has gone and they have no depth or quality.

Wouldn't their relegation put a collective smile on everyone's face? Especially those of us who live or have lived in SW Leicestershire.

...or have to visit the bastard place every week...or have to go 5 times in 12 days there soon....or goes to Speedway meetings in their awful city (funny this evening that the only piece of footballing kit I seen was two blokes proudly wearing their two Leicester City coats).

No quality or depth but winners by 5 goals to 1 away from home and above our team who I assume must have lots of quality and depth ? Do our supporters ever think before they post ?:icon_roll

he didn't say we had depth or quality did he? And we won 4-1 against Watford and 4-1 away from home, so his point is entirely valid. I do wish posters on here would think before they post sometimes.

Take your own advice son. I hate the way we talk about other teams having no depth or quality as if we do have. This season has been a shambles even by Leicester standards, so lets think before we nail other teams squads, especially those squads who happen to have more points than we do and are above us in the table.

Why? Be a pretty boring place if we all sat silent until after the event. Notice you didn't comment on his post before Cov had won

Yes realist. I think long and hard about every permutation at this critical point of the season and post when I feel like expressing an opinion.

I was wrong about Coventry's second half performance but if anyone had predicted that turnaround they could have got astronomical odds on 5 second half goals. They can still go down despite this result.

As for our teams quality and depth it is evident from our league position that even if it exists it isn't getting translated into results often enough... As Beighton 155 rightly replied I didn't state or imply we had those qualities in the post (thanks for the comments Beights!)

I will continue to speculate on results as is the nature of most football supporters. Maybe only realists wait to be sure of being wise after the event?

Well said stockholm fox.

I think there's going to be a new category in the talkingballs awards this year for 'most ironic username', so you'll have the opportunity to vote then.

I think Southampton are already relegated because I do not believe they will pick up any points against West Brom, and if Sheffield United can beat Bristol City on Saturday, they might fancy themselves to sneak into the last playoff place possibly with 69 points so will put Southampton to the sword.
