Quote from RK on the 'Blue Army' site

"There is concern on the playing side that the takeover is dragging on too long, and this latest setback does not help the mood, even though there were better signs in terms of the level of performance"

They know there is a minumum time and what it is, the players are under contact so whats the problem?

Clutching at straws again...desperate

He would be no good at a publicly quoted company as the last company I worked for got taken over and it took over six months to complete. :icon_roll

This excuse is every bit as shabby as the Team and Coaching Staff.

A good boss would tell his staff members that any goings on in the board room are none of their fecking business, if they think it is, then they can feck off now

While you are correct Melts, I would imagine that RK hasn't the authority and respect of the team for them to pay the blindest notice.

If there's talk of a takeover that can affect employees people will talk about it, whatever type of business it is. Why should footballers be any different?
But talking about it shouldn't affect their performance on the pitch, that's just being used as an excuse.

The good players should be on a high.

The ones who want to, and can perform know that MM wants to take the club forward and they have the possibility of moving to greater hights

The others are under contract and have guaranteed earnings for the duration
(often for doing nothing..Douglas)

Many of the squad on short contract will not have then renewed regardless of club ownership, final payday and all that

They all know their days are numbered.......

But it just goes to show how professional they all are if this takeover is affecting their play..... bunch of pansies.

More or less what I was saying, of course they will gossip as any employee would.

For RK to say that is stupidity for 2 reasons a) They are very unprofessional and should concentrate on getting their work done, or b) RK is very unprofessional for using his own employers as an excuse when it is clearly the "shop floor" that is to blame

I don't buy into the takeover plans unsettling players. We have won 5 games all season, the last three have hardly been a massive dip in form.

The fact still remains that the club is not performing from top to bottom, until there is a change at the top our club will not move on.

TD has to go if judged on his performance over the last 4 years regardless of MM.

The Acadamy lads seem to be showing the way, so not totally rotten

i pulled a sicky in the end, couldnt face working not after another defeat really does ruin your day when you work with a Wolves fan and a fickle Villa boy
