9 points is a lot to make up, especially when there is also a cushion of teams between us and the playoffs. We will drop points ourselves so we have to drop 9 less points than those in the playoffs at the moment who are mostly on good form. Of course we also need teams between us and the top 6 to drop enough points as well.

Our current form suggests we won't.

We do however play 5 of the 7 above us, based on current form. Watford down to Millwall all have 5 or 6 games against top 6 opposition. I'm actually hoping Millwall's home form can assist our progress. But it is up to us. Win them all, then we should be comfortable.:icon_wink

Play off place possible but unlikely.

Sven has done an excellent job to retrieve the season but its very difficult to get a top 6 place after such an appalling start. The points gap is very challenging, too dependent on teams with games in hand failing - so it would really do with a sustained winning run and much improved away form.

Pity Sousa couldn't have been sacked a few weeks earlier - it was obvious enough that he was a disaster.
