i reckon thats the pratically strongest XI in MA mind-i think he will however play kaebi instead of newton, campbell instead of de vries and maybe kisnorbo ahead of McAuley or move McAuley to right back and play him instead of stearman

however i am unsure who will start in goal-interesting that nielsen is dropped today...

That's how I'd do it as well. I'll wait to see who'll be in goal, but right now I'd go for Nielsen.

I hate friendlies of all kinds, international or club or pre season etc.

waste of time for the fans, half arsed efforts, no real tackles and players given time on the ball they just won't get in 'proper' games.

Aside from some sense of curiosity over new players or if we play a Barcelona or Fiorentina when I'd turn up to watch players I wouldn't normally get to see there is no appeal at all.

Worthwhile for the players, management, club but not for me.
