But the fact that they are not french surely helps their cause

of course, but they are then let down by being spanish. Has everyone forgotten the Falklands war, the spanish were just horrible to us because we were kicking the arse of a spanish speaking nation

Right then, I have posted the info. Shall wait and see - it's not uncommon for Barca to sell tickets on la day.

Nice one Hazz and Boc!! :023:

The rest of you, **** off and get your own thread!! ;)

I return with answers!!

This info is from an European 'groundhopper'. So should know more than the simple football fan.

Personally I doubt it will sell out. Buying Barca tickets is easy:

1. go through one of the many agencies on the internet, they should send the tickets to your hotel (they won't post them to you)

2. go to any branch of the Caixa bank, put your card in the ATM and select the "Buy Tickets" option. You can then purchase your Barcelona ticket and it will be printed out on the spot. I'm not sure if this works for CL games though

3. go the main city tourist office on Placa Catalunya, they sell tickets, though perhaps not for CL games

4. go the stadium on the day of the game (or 1 or 2 days before), ideally in the afternoon, then find the ticket office. Even if that isn't open then there are always lots of old Spanish guys waiting around to sell tickets. Of course they want a bit extra but they don't charge silly prices.

My only Camp Nou advice would be to not leave a car full of valuables in the area while you take the family on a walk, amazingly failing to find one of the world's most impressive stadia despite that being the sole purpose of your visit. The hours of filing police reports in a language you can't speak gets tedious, for one thing.

Ask my dad how he knows this...

Top bombing Hazz!!! :038: :038: :023:

Thanks a lot for that, especially number 4, I think this will be the route we take! Nice one mate! :023:

Oh and BG, no need to spit your dummy out, I had already thanked you for your input! :056: ;)

When we got mugged in Barcelona on the underground we were given a police form in English as it happens so frequently to British tourists.

(I still loved the city and would definitely go back)

They mightn't have been Spanish muggers, they could have been from anywhere.

Not everybody that lives in England is English, not everybody that lives in Spain is Spanish.
