I find it hard to understand those who have supported IH through this terrible season and beyond criticising Grayson's record. He just did better than us with less. Must be a step up, but now so many people aren't happy and think it has to be Ince or Davies. Ince hasn't done as much and Davies has had disasters as well as successes.

I'm not championing Grayson, he's not my first choice but there are a lot worse and if chosen it'd be nice if he could at least have supporters support until he F's up.

I think we needs some re-runs of Why Don't You on tele again.

When I saw Blackpool on the first day of last season they reminded me a lot of an O'Neil team. Not pretty but effective.
The fact that he kept Blackpool up on probably a 10th of our budget is also a plus.

I would imagine that Davies has been approached, so it would appear that he isn't interested. Ince turned us down before Allen was appointed so that seems unlikely that he'd come here now.

Grayson seems the natural choice so I can't really understand what all this negativity is about.

He is not much of a step up from Holloway. :icon_conf Is MM serious because at the moment I only see the credibility one person at City in doubt at the moment. :icon_conf

Backpool Chairman does u -turn quote" we have not recieved any approach from Leicester nor would i welcome any"
He was happy for him to go last week!

Did he say he would be happy for him to come to Leicester?

The only quote I saw said he would let him go to Arsenal.

Oyston said, ""If, and when, he [Grayson] feels he can further his career and it's a good opportunity then he'll be off", before insisting that the aim was to keep him at Blackpool. The reference to Arsenal was only relation to Oyston driving Grayson down there; it seems he would have to make his own way to Leicester.

All subject, of course, to the BBC having a change of mind about what the Blackpool chairman actually did say

The way I read it was that he could understand Grayson wanteing to go to a Prem club and wouldn't dream of standing in his way. But should it be a club in the same league, or below, it would be a totally different attitude.

But as I said, that was just my interpretation of it.

I am sure that is the correct interpretation as far as Oyston is concerned. It doesn't take into account though the desire of Grayson for this particular job.

Oh shit .... we have a security alert. Newts has hacked your account. :icon_wink

Ooooooooooh Shut That Door!

If we approach and their chairman says "no" Grayson will walk if he wants the job, by next weeks deadline he might be the only option.

Heard Steve Walsh on Radio Leicester today & he said that Grayson had texted Walsh & asked Walsh to 'campaign' for him (before his holiday I think).
Walsh also said he was interested himself (we all know that) but that in conversation with Neil Lennon he also declared an interest. Walsh added 'though I've got more qualifications than him'. The words 'qualifications' and 'Walsh' don't normally go together, so I had to smile

Walshy has got an E in Woodwork.

He hit it a lot?

The longer this situation goes on, the more that Grayson will be perceived as all that we could get, rather than the preferred choice. At a club where commitment to the manager is somewhat limited, this does not bode well for his long term future in the job.
