Leicester is a Premiership club in everything but its divisional status.

Therefore, we are not a Premiership club.... :icon_roll

I do hope he changes this fact, but I can't see it happening.

Heh, Megson claims the Taggs idea was his... right after MM answers the question about what he'll bring to the football club.

Now cue everyone saying that MM told him to say that and it's still a ploy by MM to make sMegson palatable.

I like they way they can all laugh at how stupid our club looks.

What was the 7 weeks joke at the end? I missed it. Was he joking about sacking GM in the same time?!

GM had joked that he had been given a long term contract of 6 weeks, so at the end MM said, see you in 7 weeks.

its not our club. we own no part of this club.and why do we look stupid :102:

The fans are the club. Without fans, a club is nothing. We are the ones that are always here, players, managers and chairman will come and go, but the fans stay there.

We look stupid because we have just appointed the manager who was responsible for relegating one of our biggest rivals to the third tier of english football for the first time in their history!

Would you not like to have a good old laugh at Forest/Derby/Coventry fans if they were to appoint Kelly/Levein/Taylor as their managers? :102:

It seems to me that you are now arguing against your previous statement. Somewhere back in this thread, you called for loyalty. Now you saythat it is not our club. Fans may not own a club in financial terms, but without having 'bought in' to the club, there is nothing with which to have loyalty.

I don't know whether 'stupid' is the right word but we have been fairly inept in the last few years.

I think it is probably recognised that we are - at one level - fortunate to have Milan, but on the otherhand we lack the stability which is usually a pre-requisite for achieving success.

It will be interesting to see where Megson will sit in terms of the managerial favourites for dismissal this season.

football is entertainment when all said and done.we go to games to be entertained (we hope). the entertainment continues off the pitch too.forest fans will be having a laugh at us right now, but we will be having a bigger laugh if we stuff them on tuesday.its swings and roundabouts, abit of banter if you will, but stupid we are not.
