Lets just hope that Newts is good at dodging any apples that his sauce (mmm... apple sauce) may throw at him after the reveal.

Yes, to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction....

he said fair enough tbh :icon_wink
Blimey, he's chilled out about it all then.

Do you think he wants this information in the public domain and told somebody whom he trusted to help him do that?

in a way yes ive never post stuff that ive been asked not too (ok once :icon_conf )

and at the end of the day im a city fan just like you all and i will pass most info on to you all but there is stuff ive not posted just hinted at which is anther way around things at the end of the day nothing ive posted will put the deal at risk :icon_wink

MM uses the press ,tim lets bit out that wont screw things up he's not that daft ;)

thats just plan wrong ,it has been said that if there was enough support for the deal there would be no need for an EGM or are you talking about yourselfs :102:

There has to be an EGM.
MM needs control of 75% of shares issued. The shareholders have not received any official details of MM's latest derisory offer.
The present ,now rudderless board ,will never convince Holders of 75% of shares to sell without either an ad hoc meeting of shareholders or an EGM.

i have known other business where if the main board consider it to be in the best interests of the business as a whole that they do not have to have an egm to consult the whole of the shareholders, at the end of the day the baord are the people elected by the shareholders to represent them.

The EGM may only be a formality if, say, everyone has already signed over their proxies to the chairman, but it is necessary for the process to be legally completed. Apart from anything else, the "10% rule can only be changed by an EGM, I believe.
